Who Am I Hey there. Thanks for joining me here. Who am I? I'm Caty McGill, a writer of paranormal fiction. I've lived in Florida most of my life but come from a long line of Irish Scots (not to be confused with Scotch-Irish or Scots-Irish, which is a totally different thing). Both of my grandfathers were from Ireland, my paternal grandmother was from Scotland. I love my Celtic heritage. It's what gave me my name, my fair skin, my blue eyes. And my fascination with folklore. What Am I You already know I'm a writer. I've been doing that for a long time - from the school paper to TV news to web content to fiction. A few years ago I decided it was time to stop writing scattershot and pin down my genre. Some experts advise - write what you'd like to read. What do I like to read?
