Handling Rejection

Today we're going to talk about rejection. Everyone deals with rejection eventually - your crush declines your invitation to prom, you get passed over for that promotion at work or that dream job offer, or... an agent or publisher says "thanks but no thanks" to your manuscript. Ouch, right? photo courtesy of Jakayla Toney via Unplash Rejection is part of being a writer, and there are a lot of reasons for it. Maybe that dream agent isn't accepting submissions right now, or the market is already overloaded with stories in a similar vein as yours. Sometimes a rejection means that it's the work that's the problem. And that's okay! Who Am I Hey there. Thanks for joining me here. Who am I? I'm Caty McGill, a writer of paranormal fiction. I've lived in Florida most of my life but come from a long line of Irish Scots (not to be confused with Scotch-Irish or Scots-Irish, which is a totally different thing).
